The Prophet Trial -Pilot Study to Assess Safety and Efficacy of a Novel Atrial Flow Regulator (AFR) in Patients With Pulmonary Hypertension
This study aims to investigate safety and efficacy of Occlutech® AFR device in patients with severe pulmonary hypertension (PH).

THERAPY-HYBRID-BPA Trial
Riociguat could improve the exercise capacity and residual symptoms in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) even after normalization of pulmonary arterial pressure by balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA). This randomized controlled trial study aimed to clarify whether the improvement of peak cardiac index (CI) during exercise maintains or not between the riociguat continued group and the riociguat discontinued group.

Training Single Arm
The pulmonary hypertension is a disease, which tends to a progredient right heart failure. Although there was a large progress in development of medical therapy, the quality of life, the physical efficiency and the prognosis of the patients are still limited. The aim of the study is to examine the influence of physical training to clinical and molecular parameter.

TrEatment Approach in the Multimodal Era Registry
The goal of this observational patient registry is to learn how expert centers treat patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). CTEPH is a condition in which blood clots block the blood vessels in the lungs. There are currently three treatment options for patients with CTEPH: - surgery to remove blood clots from large vessels in the lungs (pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA)) - the use of a small balloon to unblock smaller blood vessels (balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA)) - drugs Patients can also receive a combination of these treatments. The main question this...

Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension in High-risk Cardiac Surgery Patients Using Inhalational and Intravenous Agents
The aim of this study is to examine and compare the effect of Levosimendan and Milrinone administered intravenously and via inhalation respectively in cardiac surgery patients with pulmonary hypertension and right ventricular dysfunction.

Treatment With Ambrisentan in Patients With Borderline Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
An Investigator initiated trial (IIT) using a prospective, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled, clinical study design.

Urban-training Intervention in Pulmonary Hypertension (UTHAP)
Pulmonary rehabilitation is effective in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension (PH). However, the beneficial effects of such intervention have been seen to disappear over time in other chronic diseases. The objective of the project is to evaluate the efficacy of an urban exercise program after a rehabilitation program and to identify possible determinants of sustainability of the effect, both in patients and in a murine experimental model. Methodology: 1) Study in humans: randomized study (urban training) in 80 patients with PH. The main variable is the improvement in physical activity measured by accelerometry at 12 months....

Vardenafil Inhaled for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension PRN Phase 2B Study
The objectives of this study are to evaluate the effects of RT234 on exercise parameters assessed by a specialized exercise test (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test or CPET) in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

: Vascular Function in Health and Disease
Many control mechanisms exist which successfully match the supply of blood with the metabolic demand of various tissues under wide-ranging conditions. One primary regulator of vasomotion and thus perfusion to the muscle tissue is the host of chemical factors originating from the vascular endothelium and the muscle tissue, which collectively sets the level of vascular tone. With advancing age and in many disease states, deleterious adaptations in the production and sensitivity of these vasodilator and vasoconstrictor substances may be observed, leading to a reduction in skeletal muscle blood flow and compromised perfusion to the...
