Prognostic Value of the Right Ventricular Function by Portable Ultrasound in Patients With Pulmonary Hypertension.
Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a disease characterized by obliteration and remodeling of small-caliber pulmonary arteries, progressively generating an increase in pulmonary vascular resistance, right heart failure, and death. Current guidelines recommend a multidimensional approach which includes clinical, echocardiographic, exercise and hemodynamic variables to classify patients by risk and thus define a prognosis and guide therapeutic decisions. There is a wide range of studies, which have shown a good correlation between standard echocardiography and portable cardiac ultrasound. There is no doubt about the usefulness...

Proteomic Pattern Associated With the Diagnosis of Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension
Chronic ThromboEmbolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) is a rare but severe complication of pulmonary embolism (PE). CTEPH is evoked in patients with persistent dyspnea. According to international guidelines, symptomatic patients with perfusion defects on lung scan and Pulmonary Hypertension (PH)-likely transthoracic echo (TTE) must be evaluated in Pulmonary Hypertension (PH)-centers with right heart catheterism, to confirm or rule out the presence of precapillary Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), and precise the group of Pulmonary Hypertension (PH).

PTGS1 Genetic Variation and Increased Risk for Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn
The purpose of this study is to determine if normally occurring variations in a specific gene called PTGS-1 are associated with an increased risk of narrowing of the ductus arteriosus from exposure to over-the-counter pain medicines (NSAIDs).

Pulmonary Artery Denervation in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation and Group 2 of Pulmonary Hypertension
The goal of the study is to compare efficacy and safety of the pulmonary artery denervation procedure combined with atrial fibrillation ablation versus atrial fibrillation ablation alone in patients with paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation and group 2 of the pulmonary hypertension

Pulmonary Hypertension Association Registry
The PHA Registry (PHAR) is a national study about people who have pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). PHAR collects information from people with PAH and CTEPH who are cared for in participating PHA-accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Care Centers throughout the U.S. PHAR will determine how people with PAH and CTEPH are evaluated, tested, and treated, and will observe how well these participants do. The goal is to see if people with PH are treated according to recommended guidelines, and to see if there are certain factors that can lead to better or worse outcomes. ...
